Decision tree for NCRsTo improve your classification of Major and Minor non-conformance, below is a Decision tree created by American Standards Registrar (ASR). 

The Decision Tree provides stronger guidance for third-party auditors to evaluate the parameters of a major or minor non-conformance. However, this evaluation method can be a valuable tool for internal auditors to use as they determine what is producing a non-conforming condition.
